10. Reduced Inequalities

10.5.1 Proportion of Employees with Disabilities

In line with its commitment to promoting equal opportunity in the workplace, IGU places great importance on the employment of individuals with disabilities and continues to take steps each year to increase their representation. In 2023, the university employed a total of 1.377 staff members, of whom 2 were employees with disabilities, representing 0,15% of the total workforce. As of 2024, the total number of employees increased to 1.428, while the number of employees with disabilities rose to 3, bringing the overall rate to 0,21%. Through its inclusive employment approach, IGU remains dedicated to supporting the greater participation of individuals with disabilities in its institutional structure.
