3.2 Number graduating in health professions

In 2025, a total of 3,239 students graduated from health-related programmes at IGU across associate, undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.

Of these graduates, 1,802 completed health-related associate degree programmes. Figure 2 shows the number of students who graduated with an associate degree in the field of health by year.

At the undergraduate level, 1,114 students graduated from health-related programmes. Figure 3 shows the number of students who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the field of health by year.

In health-related master’s programmes, 318 students completed their degrees. The number of master’s degree graduates in the field of health by year is presented in Figure 4.

At the doctoral level, 5 students graduated from health-related programmes. After the first doctoral graduate in 2023 and none in 2024, this reflects IGU’s growing contribution to health-related education at the doctoral level.
