3.3.2 Health outreach programmes

Throughout 2024, IGU’s Public Relations and Promotion Department, the Continuing Education Application and Research Center, and the relevant academic units at Istanbul Gelisim University organize various seminars and training sessions aimed at improving health literacy and enhancing psychosocial awareness among different segments of society. In 2024, training programs were organized for the community, mainly for high school students and guidance counselors, on topics like motivation, exam stress, cyberbullying, solution-focused therapy, and sexual abuse awareness. These health-oriented collaborations are planned and implemented in line with the goals of “to increase the level of cooperation with local and regional institutions and organizations” and “to increase activities aimed at serving the society” stated in IGU’s 2024–2028 Strategic Plan.
