
The workshops offered under the scope of Good Health and Well-being included:
Organized by IGU, the “2024 High School Summer Academy” was successfully held on July 8–9, 2024. Designed to offer high school students a hands-on university experience and introduce them to different academic disciplines, the event featured workshops from eight academic departments and attracted significant interest from participants. A total of 127 high school students took part in this year’s program, including 25 guest students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, hosted in collaboration with the Avcılar District Directorate of National Education. Through both theoretical and practical workshop content aligned with their prospective academic interests, participants enhanced their career awareness and gained valuable insights into their future educational paths.
Workshops delivered under the scope of Good Health and Well-being included the following:

The Well-Being Academy is a psychosocial support initiative implemented by IGU to raise awareness among young individuals and guidance counselors on topics such as psychological resilience, exam anxiety, motivation, and emotional balance.
Throughout 2024, the program reached over 60 high schools and institutions, delivering seminars and training sessions. For guidance counselors, the program included educational content on sexual abuse awareness, solution-focused therapy, and therapeutic card techniques. For prospective university students, seminars covered key topics such as exam anxiety, stress management, effective communication, and productive study strategies. This initiative represents one of the university’s community engagement efforts aimed at promoting mental health and well-being.
