3.3 Collaborations and health services
IGU adopts a holistic approach to health and well-being, integrating education, research, and community engagement under a unified institutional strategy. In alignment with the university’s 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, collaborations and health services are structured to strengthen partnerships with the health sector, promote preventive practices, and foster a healthy campus culture.
This framework encompasses initiatives that support both individual and collective well-being, ranging from partnerships with health institutions and community outreach programs to mental and reproductive health services, shared sports facilities, and the promotion of smoke-free living. By bringing these initiatives together under one shared goal, IGU makes sure that its students, staff, and the larger community can access health-focused practices that are open to everyone and can last over time
Through these efforts, the university reinforces its identity as a socially responsible institution that not only educates future professionals but also contributes actively to public health and social welfare.
