17.3 Publication of SDG Reports

IGU prepares annual Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reports to transparently communicate its commitment to sustainability and the initiatives it undertakes in this area. These reports cover activities related to environmental, social, and economic sustainability goals, documenting the university’s sustainability efforts and institutional development. They are also made publicly available through IGU’s Open Science and Open Access System as an indication of the university’s responsibility to society. (IGU SDG Reports)

The SDG reports provide comprehensive coverage of projects carried out with contributions from academic and administrative units, sustainable campus practices, educational and social responsibility activities for the community, and national and international collaborations. Through these reports, IGU communicates its contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals to the public through documented activities and measurable indicators.

IGU’s sustainability initiatives are also presented to the public through its Sustainability website. This platform provides access to information and content related to the university’s sustainability approach, activities, and relevant institutional initiatives. (IGU Sustainability Website)

Previous years’ SDG reports serve as institutional documents reflecting IGU’s progress in sustainability, good practices, and commitment to continuous improvement. The regular publication of these reports demonstrates IGU’s approach to monitoring and documenting its SDG performance and sharing its progress transparently with the public.
