Partnerships for the Goals: Publications

Throughout 2025, IGU generated significant scientific output through its academic activities aimed at contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly under the theme of “SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals” Data retrieved from the Scopus database provided by Elsevier indicate that a total of 51 academic publications affiliated with the university were aligned with SDG 17. These publications encompass international collaborative studies, interdisciplinary research, sector-based engagement, and scientific output focused on societal impact. Published in indexed and open-access scholarly journals, these studies demonstrate IGU’s research capacity in strengthening its sustainability vision and culture of global partnerships.

Furthermore, according to the data obtained through the “Collaborators” tab on IGU’s institutional profile in Scopus, IGU has produced 4,502 joint publications in collaboration with a total of 150 different institutions. These publication-based collaborations demonstrate that IGU has established an extensive academic collaboration network at both national and international levels. Such collaborations provide concrete evidence of the university’s capacity to develop academic partnerships, strengthen knowledge sharing, and contribute to global knowledge production within the framework of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
