IGU strengthens scientific knowledge production in the field of climate action within the scope of sustainable development goals. The university conducts research across various disciplines on climate change mitigation, carbon footprint management, sustainable energy solutions, and low-carbon technologies.
According to the Scopus database, a total of 240 academic publications were published within the scope of SDG 13 between 2021 and 2024. Most of this research was conducted through interdisciplinary collaborations, published internationally, and supported scientific sharing on open-access platforms.
