13. Climate Action

13.3.3 Co-operative Planning for Climate Change Disasters

Considering the increasing risks of natural disasters (floods, heat waves, air pollution, etc.) due to climate change, the university's infrastructure and operational processes were analyzed and risk reduction measures were planned.

In 2024, through meetings held between university units and relevant public institutions:

  • Emergency action plans on campus have been updated,
  • Indoor climate control measures have been identified against extreme heat waves,
  • Drainage and infrastructure control plans have been prepared against the risks of heavy rainfall and flooding.
  • These efforts have aimed to minimize the impacts of potential climate change–induced disasters and to enhance the resilience of the university.
