13.3 Environmental Education Measures (2024)

In line with its sustainability vision, IGU organized numerous training programs, seminars, workshops, and social responsibility events throughout 2024 to mitigate the impacts of climate change, raise environmental awareness, and promote the adoption of low-carbon lifestyles. These events were planned and implemented to include not only university students but also academic staff, administrative staff, local governments, civil society organizations, and broader public segments. Thus, IGU aimed to raise public awareness of climate action and contribute to the fight against climate change at the local level.
