IGU continuously contributes to scientific studies on climate action within the scope of the sustainable development goals. According to Scopus database data, the number of academic publications published within the scope of SDG 13 for the last four years is as follows:

In total, 240 publications were published between 2021 and 2024. These publications cover a wide range of topics, including the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of climate change, carbon footprint management, sustainable energy systems, low-carbon technologies, and climate policy development.
The diversity of publications demonstrates the university's growing academic capacity in climate action and its effective contribution to global scientific knowledge production.
